Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and husband Raj Kundra have gained significant relief from the Bombay High Court. The court has issued an interim order halting the enforcement of eviction notices issued by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). These notices targeted their home in Juhu, Mumbai, and a farmhouse near Pavana Dam in Pune.
The eviction notices were issued following investigations related to an alleged crypto Ponzi scheme, in which Shilpa and Raj Kundra’s assets were temporarily attached. Although they are not accused in the case, their assets were seized.

A bench comprising Justices Revati Mohite Dere and P.K. Chavan ruled that no action would be taken against Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra until they present their case before the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) appellate authority.
The court clearly instructed the ED that no further steps regarding the eviction notices should be taken until the appellate authority makes its decision.
