Indian PM Narendra Modi has emerged as the world’s first prime minister to hit 100 million followers on the micro-blogging platform, X.

On Sunday, Narendra Modi’s followers reached 100 million. After that, Narendra Modi featured in the list of world leaders who crossed this milestone, ahead of other political leaders.

The record for the most followers in X is held by former US President Barack Obama at 131.7 million followers, and then there is Narendra Modi at 100 million followers, followed by former US President Donald Trump with 87.4 million followers.

Current US President Joe Biden has 38.1 million followers on X.
