Israel Fighting for Survival : Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that Israel is fighting for its survival.

The prime minister has told an audience in Tel Aviv that the State of Israel has launched violent attacks on Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis. Also, he asserted that Israel has avenged the killing of Hezbollah Chief of Staff Fouad Shukr.

Netanyahu also made it clear that it Israel is fighting for survival. Nobody can be unaware of the existence of Israel.

Netanyahu also told that they had provided a strict response to Iran’s proxies and now Israel would come up with a harsh response against all types of aggression.

“Israel is ready for all situations”, he added.

He further added that since the Beirut attack, there were threats in Israel from all sides, and they all would stand together to counter such types of danger.

Yesterday, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was assassinated in the Iranian capital. The well-armed Palestinian group Hamas accused Israel of this high-profile killing.

A Hamas statement shortly after his assassination referred to his killing as a “Zionist conspiracy attack.”

Ismail Haniyeh was put at the helm of affairs of Hamas’ political bureau in 2017 after the incumbent Khaled Meshaal.

The development has evoked a storm of anger and resentment all across Palestine, Iran, and Pakistan. Loyalists of Hamas are venting their anger by raising slogans against Israel.

Iran has strongly denounced it as a terrorist act. Iranian officials have announced that the killing of Haniyeh is a threat to regional amity and tranquility and called for probe in the incident immediately.
