India : Schools Closed Due To Lion Attack
Schools have been closed for two days in india due to terror of lion attack.
The panic at the presence of lions has been causing worry in the minds of people in the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. The problem caused such a situation that the district authorities had to declare the closing of the schools for two days.
It was after considering this recent spate of lion attack, that the local administration decided and closed nine schools in Dwarikhal (India) for two days, September 23 and 24. They want to ensure safety for the students.
A district magistrate’s order stated that the decision to shut the schools was taken after the education officer sought measures to secure the safety of students.

An education officer had written to the district magistrate in the morning about a lion attack on a student in the Thangar village of Dwarikhal on Saturday. The student was injured, and the lion was also found close to the government primary school in the village, thus intensifying fear in the area.
The local authorities and the forest department have been working to catch the lion that launched the attacks.
