Imran Khan Arrested In Jinnah House Attack And 12 Other Cases
Police have formally arrested PTI founder Imran Khan in connection with the Jinnah House attack and 12 other cases.
Investigating officers arrived at Adiala Jail to arrest Imran Khan for his alleged involvement in the Jinnah House attack case. According to the police, Imran Khan will be investigated under charges of inciting violence against the state.
The police stated that Imran Khan has been arrested in connection with 12 cases from May 9th, including the Jinnah House attack case. The police requested the Rawalpindi court to transfer Imran Khan to Lahore, but the court denied the request due to security concerns.
Police have announced that Imran Khan will appear via video link before the Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore on Monday. They will seek his remand for further investigation related to the Jinnah House attack case. Overall, there are 16 cases registered against Imran Khan.

Earlier, an 11-member police team from Lahore arrived at Adiala Jail to investigate three cases from May 9th filed against Imran Khan. After completing their investigation, the police team left the jail.
Media reports indicate that Imran Khan was questioned on various matters related to the cases. Lahore police will approach the Anti-Terrorism Court to obtain physical remand for the former Prime Minister.
Previously, a special accountability court approved an 8-day physical remand for Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in the Toshakhana reference case. Judge Muhammad Ali Warraich of the special accountability court in Rawalpindi delivered the verdict, instructing NAB to conduct the investigation inside the jail.
