Ban On PTI Is Not Final Yet: Ishaq Dar

Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) senior leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar announced that the decision to Ban on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is not final yet.
Deputy Prime Minister told media in Lahore that yesterday’s statement by the Minister for Information would be discussed with political parties and allies.
Ishaq Dar said Decision to ban PTI is not final yet. At the end, any kind of decision will be taken according to the constitution and law-not because of political affiliation.
On a question, Ishaq Dar replied, “Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf happens to be a party with foreign funding including Jews and Christians.

He asserted that all evidence against PTI’s foreign funding are available, but any action against PTI should consider constitutional and legal aspects.
Ishaq Dar said that all the decisions should be made by keeping national security and stability on prior basis. All the actions against those who are compromising national security should be taken under the constitution and law.
Deputy Prime Minister said that PML-N or PPP is not in any hurry to form the government, but if not, it will lead to default of the country. They are working day and night for strengthening the economy of the country.
It may be added that the federal government has made up its mind to put ban on the PTI. The government declared that at some point in time, a case under Article 6 shall be dragged against former President Arif Alvi, PTI founder Imran Khan, and former Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri, after the federal cabinet gave approval to refer this matter to the Supreme Court.
Government Decides To Ban PTI
Yesterday, The federal government has decided to ban Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
In a press conference in Islamabad, Federal Minister for Information Atta Tarar stated that attacks were carried out on national defense on May 9. He claimed that Imran Khan’s family was involved in these incidents, with his three sisters present outside the Corps Commander House. The public was being told that a revolution was about to take place and to immediately reach their designated locations.

Atta Tarar said that the founder of PTI promoted a culture of chaos and violence. Imran Khan harmed Pakistan’s defense institutions. He emphasized that Pakistan and PTI cannot progress together if the country is to develop.
The Information Minister stated that on one hand, PTI was sheltering terrorists claiming they would play a role in national security, while on the other, they attacked GHQ and the Corps Commander House. They undermined the National Action Plan.
Atta Tarar confirmed that the government has decided to ban PTI. The case will be presented to the Supreme Court. There is clear evidence to support the ban on PTI. This decision might be approved in the upcoming federal cabinet meeting.
Maulana Fazal ur Rehman Opposes Ban On PTI
JUI-F chief Maulana Fazal ur Rehman has opposed ban on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in a statement. He said that force could not be used against the political forces for solution of the issues; it will rather enhance the level of political tension. All institutions should work in the framework given by the constitution for progress and prosperity.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman emphasized that It is better that this reckoning is understood by the powerful circles at the earliest possible moment; otherwise, the situation could further deteriorate. Transparent elections are the only solution to all issues in the country.
Ban On Political Parties Is Inappropriate: Islam Ghori
On the other hand, central spokesperson of JUI, Islam Ghori, said in his statement that talking about ban on political parties is inappropriate. Government drama is meant to divert attention from real issues; restrictions cannot solve political issues.

No Benefit From Ban on PTI: Sherry Rehman
Pakistan People’s Party leader Senator Sherry Rehman has said that ban on the PTI would serve no benefit.
Talking to private news channel Geo News, Sherry Rehman said that ban on PTI will not provide any benefit. however, I will stand with whatever decision is taken by her party.
“We had told them not to go ahead with this. These kinds of things do not keep relationships intact. You saw from the budget, we could not carry our perceptions through. You can’t stop something, the country has to be run by law,” Sherry Rehman said.
