YouTube Increased The Price For Premium Service
YouTube, a video-sharing site that has conquered the world, increased the price for its Premium service.
Increases started with Europeans who noticed what they claim is spontaneous increases in their plans. The increases will be reflected in family and individual plans.
However, YouTube is writing to its Premium users to inform them of the increased price. In Belgium, the Netherlands, and Italy, where the family plan stands at €18 a month, that shall move up to €26, while in those countries, the individual plan will step up from €12 to €14 per month.
There have also been price hikes in Sweden and Switzerland. However, YouTube has not yet reported a definitive list of the countries most likely to be affected by the hike.
