Prabhas’ ‘Kalki’ Crushes Box Office, Leaving ‘Jawan’ in the Dust
Box office collections of Prabhas’ film “Kalki 2898 AD” have crossed those of Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan.”
Indian media reported that the film “Kalki 2898 AD,” starring South Indian actor Prabhas, has become the fourth highest-grossing film in India, leaving Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan” behind.
“Kalki 2898 AD” now stands at over ₹867 crore, whereas Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan” did a total business of ₹761 crore in India.
Notably, the biggest grosser in India is Prabhas’ “Baahubali 2,” which made a total of ₹1,417 crore.
In the list of highest-grossing films, “KGF Chapter 2” comes second with ₹1,001 crore, while another South Indian film, “RRR,” takes third place with ₹916 crore.
Globally, Aamir Khan’s “Dangal” still reigns as the highest-grossing movie with more than ₹2,023 crore box office earnings.
