Karachi Included In Most Dangerous Cities For Tourists

A list of the most dangerous cities in the world for tourists has been released, Karachi is included in it.

Forbes Advisor has released a new report, scoring cities from 0-100 regarding their crime rates, quality of medical facilities, natural disaster risks, and more. The Venezuelan capital, Caracas, has topped the charts with a score of 100 as the most dangerous city for tourists.

Karachi, Pakistan, has also been included in the list of the most dangerous cities for tourists. This study placed Karachi in the second spot among the most dangerous cities for tourists, underscoring personal security risks as principal issues.

Yangon is listed as third among the most dangerous cities for tourists, followed by Lagos, Manila, and Dhaka, which rank fourth, fifth, and sixth, respectively.

Based on data analyzed from sixty cities, Singapore has rated at 0 for being the safest city to visit for tourists, thereby placing it top of the list with the lowest level of risk from natural disasters and health, crime, and other hazards.

Following Singapore, Tokyo and Toronto made the top three of the safest holiday destinations. The rest of the top ten includes Sydney in Australia at the fourth position, Zurich in Switzerland at the fifth, Copenhagen in Denmark at the sixth, Seoul in South Korea seventh, Osaka in Japan eighth, and Melbourne in Australia at the tenth position.

Experts urge tourists to consider safer and more peaceful places where their security would be guaranteed with excellent medical facilities.

Effective steps should be taken by governments and the concerned authorities to make their cities safe for tourists. This will not only boost tourism but also enhance the international reputation of these cities.

Additionally, experts recommend that tourists stay informed about the safety conditions of their destination cities through reliable sources and local news. It is also advised to avoid high-risk areas within the cities and travel in groups when possible.
