Mawra Hocane Stops Shooting For Prayer

The actress, Mawra Hocane, stops her scenes during the shooting for prayer. She firs prays and then finish the scene accordingly.

Recently, a senior actress, Azra Mansoor, gave an interview to a YouTube channel. She shared that there are many misconceptions people had about actors. Due to their dramas and film activities, people think they are far away from their religion, which is a wrong impression.

Azra Mansoor said that the words being used for the artists in the showbiz industry were not apt. Though she agreed that not every single artist of that particular industry was religious, many of them did have a close proximity to their faith.

She said that while she had been shooting for the drama serial “Jafaa” with Mawra Hocane and Mohib Mirza, whenever prayer time used to come, both these artists stop the shooting and resume the scenes afterward.

Azra Mansoor was pleased to see Mawra Hocane offering prayers. She said during the shooting, if prayer time would come, Mawra Hocane stops scene, first pray and then come back to complete the shooting.

She also mentioned that it wasn’t only the shooting of “Jafaa” but during the shooting of “Dil-e-Nadaan”, Mawra, Fajar and other young girls like her never used to forget their prayers.
