Pakistan Cricket Team To Play White-Ball Series In New Zealand
A white-ball series is scheduled for next year when the Pakistan cricket team visits New Zealand, and a schedule has already been released.
The Pakistan cricket team will play white-ball series in new Zealand next year. Team will participate in 5 T20 and 3 ODI. The white-ball series between the two teams will be played from March 16 to April 5, 2025.
The first T20 will be held on March 16 in Christchurch, the second on March 18 in Dunedin, the third on March 21 in Auckland, the fourth on March 23 in Tauranga, and the fifth on March 26 in Wellington.
Further, the ODI series will be played in Napier, Hamilton, and Tauranga on 29 March, 2 April, and 5 April 2025, respectively.

New Zealand Cricket also announced that they would participate in the Champions Trophy to be hosted by Pakistan. New Zealand further confirmed a tri-nation tournament in Multan going forward prior to the Champions Trophy.
PCB To Limit NOCs for National Cricketers Playing All Formats
Earlier, The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) decided to limit the issuance of No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for national cricketers who play in all three formats.
In a meeting between PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, head coaches, and the International Department, it has been decided to limit the issuance of NOCs for national cricketers who play in all three formats. It was decided that NOCs for cricketers who participate in Test, ODI, and T20 formats will be restricted.
This year, it is likely that these players will not be granted NOCs for participating in various leagues, as Pakistan’s cricket calendar is packed until May next year.
Due to the continuous cricket schedule, the policy on NOCs is being tightened further. By limiting NOCs, players who are active in all formats will be protected from fatigue and injuries.
From the upcoming Bangladesh series next month to the Champions Trophy in 2025, the Pakistan cricket team is scheduled to play 9 Tests, 14 ODIs, and 9 T20 matches.
As part of this policy, Naseem Shah has not been issued an NOC for The Hundred tournament. Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Mohammad Rizwan have contracts for the Global T20 league, but this league has not yet received approval from the ICC. The matter of issuing NOCs to players will be considered only after ICC approval.
The Global T20 league is scheduled to take place in Canada from July 25 to August 11. The PCB’s policy allows players to participate in the PSL and two other foreign leagues.
It’s important to note that the national cricket team performed poorly in the recent World Cup, which led to significant criticism from cricket fans.
